Abstract
The global expansion of the platform economy in the era of digital capitalism has given rise to a “regulatory gap” in safeguarding workers’ rights. This article examines the legislative breakthrough of Singapore's Platform Workers Act and argues that China's platform economy governance should adopt a progressive protection framework of "dynamic adaptation". By innovating mechanisms to balance algorithmic power and establishing a tripartite governance model (expert guidance, platform accountability, and trade union collaboration), China can achieve a dynamic equilibrium between protecting gig workers’ rights and sustaining platform-driven economic growth.
