          Abstract
          In recent years, artificial intelligence (AI) technology has made remarkable progress, and the era of AI has arrived. Against this background, the cultivation of English talents has shown new characteristics and development trends, with a new interpretation of cross-cultural communication competence. This paper analyzes this issue and proposes reasonable suggestions for innovating teaching models for cross-cultural communication competence in the AI era, aiming to leverage the characteristics of the times to innovate English teaching and comprehensively improve the quality of English talent cultivation.
